BTV Apartment Rentals is a locally owned and managed business renting in the Burlington and Vergennes market. Matt and Kim, along with their close friends, purchased their first apartment more than 16 years ago in Vergennes VT. Once both of their daughters began to attend UVM, they decided to expand their number of apartments into the Burlington area. Today, they have 23 apartments in prime areas.
Matt and Kim live locally in Charlotte. They’ve chosen to manage each property themselves, rather than using a property manager, to ensure a personalized relationship. Matt, who is retired, provides all of the property maintenance and Kim manages all of the books and works with tenants with general questions. Both are very accessible, and provide prompt responses to tenant needs.
They take pride in their properties as evidenced by the high renewal and reference rates. All apartments are handed over to new tenants thoroughly cleaned. Any maintenance concerns are tended to promptly, in many cases that same day. And, should a tenant have any issues, Matt and Kim are available at any time to help.
